About UsThe Housingcleveland.org web site was launched in August, 2005, and is sponsored by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners. It was created to help people list and find affordable housing in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. This web site is a partnership effort of the many nonprofit and government organizations you see listed below. An advisory committee with representatives from these organizations is responsible for its oversight. Project management is provided by Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH) and United Way of Greater Cleveland’s 211/First Call For Help. The site uses software created by Socialserve.com, a nonprofit corporation. Socialserve.com is responsible for maintaining the information about the rental properties you see listed on this site. They have worked with many other communities including those in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey and the Carolinas.
